Last week, twice in one day I heard the phrase “The passion of Christ”. Curious and following the synchronicity I watched Mary Magdalene with my Mum. It was slow, not a lot of dialogue, yet a simple and powerful message. He was passionate about his faith and beliefs, and of course love.

Interestingly, I have often held back my views and opinions, afraid they might be too woo woo. Fear has held me in bondage, worried about judgement. In the process only dealing out my own judgement of other people judging me who may or may not even be judging me.

Seems crazy, because we never actually know what other people are thinking, and most of the time it’s usually about themselves. As I have grown older, wiser, consciously and spiritually, I actually don’t even care what people think anymore. I only have love and compassion for myself and everyone else in the world.

Judgement is useful of course, we use our logical mind and our heartfelt intuition to judge if things are right or wrong for us in any given moment. We discern if we are to do certain things to help us get what we want in life. Trusting ourselves is how we begin to use our intuition and trust grows from a place of love, not fear. Fear holds us back from what we want, it stops us from truly living our best magical life.

I have learnt how to let go of fear and open my heart to love. I notice when I open my heart, it lifts me up. It lifts me out of whatever I have been attached to – food, my phone, blaming. Ultimately despair and longing.
