Your Relationship to the Light, in Summer.

As the sun arcs across the sky, casting its brilliance upon the Earth, I am reminded of the power of light to illuminate our paths and inspire our spirits. As I explore my relationship with light, I see humans celebrating the longest day as a symbol of hope, abundance, and the triumph of light over darkness. Do you celebrate this day?

The interplay of light and shadows at this time, mirrors the delicate balance of life, where moments of brightness are complemented by the shadows that add depth to our experiences. Just as the longest day eventually transitions into night, life’s journey is a continuous cycle of highs and lows.

On my darkest days, when I am stressed or overly emotional, ruminating on the suffering in this world, I remind myself I am child of the Universe, of Sky and Earth. Rather than brood in my dark energy for longer than neccessary, I connect in to the light of the divine, my inner spirit. I find solace and wisdom in the energy of light. A blissful feeling of peace and love; would you like to feel this way?

Light serves as a powerful symbol in our lives. It represents wisdom, truth and enlightenment. On the longest day of the year, I reflect on the opportunities that light offers – the chance to learn, grow, and evolve. It symbolizes the love within, a beacon that guides us even in the darkest of times.

The longest day of the year becomes an opportunity for personal rituals that deepen my connection to light. Whether it’s a sunrise or sunset meditation, or simply basking in the sun’s warmth, these rituals allow me to align with the energy of the day. It’s a time to express gratitude for the abundance of light in my life and set intentions for the days ahead.
