5 ways to create balance
Create balance and claim your sovereignty!
Life gets hectic, I know, learning to create balance is a must for feeling good. The last few weeks before the end of the year the calendar fills up, the balance gets tipped. For some reason, people think that if they don’t see you before Christmas, it’s a terrible, awful thing.
The information we receive daily in our inbox, on our social media feeds, on the news, the letterbox, from texts or phone calls, the stories of friends and family – can be overwhelming.
If you ask why do people feel overwhelmed, it’s pretty obvious after looking at that list right? Our brain needs a break, our body needs a break, a reset. Our nervous system can easily go into overload and feel out of balance.
My mission is to help you create balance, to bring awareness to yourself, of what is happening with your energy, in your mind, body and soul. To teach you how to work with your energy so you can identify, release and resolve your problems, so you can be free to choose the life you truly desire, rather than the one that is coming at you from others.
Does a Queen prioritise herself? Does a King choose what he desires?
Health and wellness
Prioritise your needs for optimum health and wellbeing. Sleep, Sunlight, Fresh Food, Water, Grooming and Movement.
Set boundaries
You have an invisible energy field or line where you have physical and mental boundaries. What will you tolerate? How far do you let people cross your boundaries before you say something or do something? Including yourself, eg. screen free time.
Practice Mindfulness
Being present in the now; is the most powerful way to live. When you get stuck in the past, you can be regretful or disappointed. If you are stuck in the future, you are wasting your precious energy on worry instead of being 100% focused on doing, being and enjoying your life. 5 minutes of a simple breathing meditation helps create mental and emotional balance and resilience.
Manage your time
Allocating time for tasks that align with your values and vision for your future will inspire and motivate you. Use calendars, to do lists and planners to help you. I like setting reminders or alarms to make time for self care, sometimes we can easily forget to make time for relaxation, joy and fun.
Nurture your relationships
Relationships provide support, a sense of community and belonging. Did you know that hugging is an antidepressant? When you bond with people by sharing, listening, playing and spending quality time together, you have more oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin – the happy hormone.
It has been a busy month so far, and it is easy to forget how important you are, I am here to remind you that you are a Queen, a King, the most important person in your life. Claim your sovereignty. Claim your power.
