How to create calm and confidence

When we get stuck in negative thoughts and feelings, we struggle to connect with ourselves and to create calm and confidence. We get lost in the sea of discomfort and constantly seek to avoid the things that are repeatedly coming up for attention. Our body, is constantly feeding us information, our feelings are an internal guidance system. This is the unconscious mind or what I like to call the inner spirit. You may know it as emotion, or energy in motion.

When you are uncomfortable, what is the thing you reach for that brings you comfort? When do you do that thing? Is it to avoid something? What does that thing give you? These are some clues to help you find out what is a problem for you, and what you are doing to avoid facing it.

I have avoided doing interviews and videos, speaking out has always been hard for me. Facing my fear helps me grow!

I know that people love my videos, they always comment on them and find them helpful. I have lacked confidence and held a belief about not being of value to the world. The more I have been facing the fear, the more the fear has lessoned, and the more confident I am in speaking out. Facing my fear, has taught me to overcome the old belief, I now know I am of value to the world, this is what I needed to grow. I have been doing more podcast interviews lately and feeling confident in speaking out.

My process of creating calm and confidence is by connecting with yourself on a deep spiritual level.

If you don’t know yourself, understand how you operate, your patterns, mental, emotional, behavioural habits, and how your past plays a role in your beliefs, will you be able to meet your needs and connect with your true dreams and desires? The answer is clear.

I have created a healing journey that takes you to the deep dark places of your soul, to face your discomfort to overcome it. To release the uncomfortable muck you unconsciously base all your decisions on. These negative feelings are usually ones of fear, anger, sadness or shame. The thoughts that come with these feelings are usually – “I am not good enough, there is something wrong with me, or life is unfair.” Is this how you want to make decisions? I have spent a long time making decisions from fear, and ended up feeling deeply disappointed with the outcomes.

You are only human, we all make mistakes and grow, it is how we learn. We get back up and keep going, life is a journey, not a dollar amount or destination on a map.
