Our pain shows up for a reason, embracing your pain is key

Embracing your pain by facing it is key to understanding it. It’s like a child tugging at your shirt, it just wants to be acknowledged. It wants to be felt, seen and heard. Bring your awareness, your loving attention and your inner gaze to the pain. Thank it for being there, and ask what it is doing there. Pain always has a positive intention when it shows up. It may be protecting you, highlighting a problem, or reminding you to rest and recharge.

I am so passionate right now about emotional education and how embracing your pain, whether physical, mental or emotional is key to releasing the energetic charge. Pain is simply a message, your body is communicating with you. By turning towards the pain, you are acknowledging it.

I love to talk about emotions.

I am a deeply emotional person, highly sensitive to the feelings of others. When I walk into a room I can feel any tension. When I meet with people I truly feel you, your energy mingles with my own. I feel your pain. That’s ok because I am an energy coach and know how to protect myself and release the energy.

Do you acknowledge your pain or discomfort?

Stress is a sign of discomfort in the body. When we are stressed, our pain, emotions and thoughts become amplified and we can get stuck in a vicious cycle of negativity. We can get so busy with life, that we easily get stressed.

Stress is a physical response to the pressure of existence. Of meeting expectations, and having expectations. The pressure of being responsible, or of being enough. We are constantly trying to prove ourselves worthy and chase things that make us feel better.

Life becomes a matter of survival. We avoid, suppress, deny or indulge ourselves to feel a little bit better for a little while. There is no real connection with self, true relaxation or sensual pleasure because we are in a constant state of stress or fatigue. The parasympathetic nervous system, our fear mechanism is on overdrive, the fight, flight or freeze response is either high adrenalin or exhausted.

Do you remember what it’s like to truly relax and feel safe?

Reiki healing is a beautiful relaxation experience where you can allow the painful parts you have been holding onto, your hardened parts to soften and release. Opening to receive beautiful Reiki (divine energy) and fill your energy cup.

Embrace your pain and change your life

As you may know, I studied trauma therapy in 2022 and ‘23. Emotion Memory Pattern Release Method (EMPR). I want you to know if you have experienced trauma, you are not broken, you don’t need to be fixed. We simply need to transform the energy of trauma, by turning towards the pain.

Trauma is an impactful experience. Overwhelmed by the experience, unable to make sense of it logically, we are deeply affected. It can be anything from being told off, loss, betrayal, being unsafe, an accident or abuse. If we don’t process and heal the experience, trauma energy stays in the body. Healing is a journey of transformation, by turning within and embracing our pain, we can release our wounds and take a beautiful journey of self discovery. You can choose who you want to be now.
