Spirit Animal Guides
I have had close relationships with a spirit animal guides my whole life
Although not understanding the significance of spirit animal guides until recently. When I was young I was obsessed with rabbits. As a young adult, I pretended to be a tiger sometimes, weird right? I have always had a dog as a pet, and now one of my business symbols is an animal – the Butterfly.
If you dream of animals, or come across an animal often, then it is most likely your spirit animal trying to guide you.
Spirit animals are guides or mentors, offering us their best qualities to learn from and go to when we need help or guidance. Click on the link here to watch or listen to my YouTube chat with Mark Cox from www.wolffitness.com.au to learn more about our journeys with spirit animals.
Mark is so passionate about his spirit animal the Wolf. I wanted to chat about it with him. He embodies the qualities of the wolf and to hear him talk about how the wolf has helped him in life is very inspiring.
Some of the ways to work with an animal guide are to meditate on it by visualising your animal. You can journal about its strengths, and draw or colour your spirit animal. Always ask your inner spirit guides for help and allow an answer or guidance to come to you at the right time, having faith it will.
Put up a picture in the house somewhere as a reminder of your spirit animal’s presence in your life.
I love the butterfly. It reminds me of the amazing and magical transformation we can make by being like the humble caterpillar. It follows its instincts and intuition creating calm and stillness in its retreat space the chrysalis. Which in turn creates massive transformation. Turning into a winged butterfly, symbolising grace, beauty, and freedom.
When I don’t follow my instincts to rest and retreat, I feel stressed and irritable. I don’t feel beautiful or graceful that’s for sure. A Reiki healing session is a great way to come back home to your body, to rest and relax. I choose to embody the teachings and qualities of the butterfly in my life. By following my intuition to seek solitude and stillness, which allows me to feel free to be my beautiful, graceful self.
If you feel stressed, irritable, or overwhelmed, read more here about how one-on-one coaching could be just the thing to help move you to calm, confident, and connected to yourself.
